About Me
I didn’t originally set out to become a mortgage broker. At one point, I considered a career in real estate, but I struggled with the idea that sales and integrity couldn’t coexist. I believed deeply in helping people, leading with honesty, and doing work that genuinely supported others.
Several years ago, a friend suggested I would make a great mortgage broker. I laughed it off at first, but the idea stayed with me. The more I thought about it, the more I realised it aligned with how I naturally work, thoughtfully, strategically, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
Before entering mortgage brokering, I worked as an Advanced Care Paramedic. That role required clear decision-making under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to support people through complex, high-stress situations. What mattered most to me was helping people regain a sense of control when things felt uncertain. That experience continues to shape how I approach every mortgage conversation today.
As a licensed mortgage broker in Alberta, I help homebuyers and homeowners navigate purchase and refinance decisions with clarity and confidence. I take the time to understand the full financial picture, explain how the numbers actually work, and outline the trade-offs involved, so clients can make informed decisions without pressure. Sometimes that means moving forward right away, and sometimes it means building a plan first. Both are valuable.
I work especially well with people who feel overwhelmed by the process or unsure about their next step. My approach is education-first and strategy-driven, with a focus on building plans that make sense not just today, but over the long term.
Family, stability, and trust are at the centre of everything I do. For me, it’s never just about securing a mortgage. It’s about helping you build a solid financial foundation and being a trusted resource you can return to as your life and goals evolve.
